IT'S MY MISSION TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE PREPARED! Yes, the Lord has a wonderful plan for your life and you need to step into fulfilling your life's potential. You may have a call on your life and a directive from God to do an be a particular thing in your life, but somehow everything seems to come against the possibility of you being able to fulfill that goal. There are many reasons for this and not just "the devil stopping you". Oh yes, the devil is the obvious one, but there are other things that can stop you as well. Things like circumstances that deflect you, people who distract you, lack of finances etc. Also, sometimes people have unrealistic expectations of what it is that they are to achieve, or an over inflated view of their own spirituality. Other times people will not be taught by someone who can facilitate what it is they are to do. And, the most common of all, sadly some never fulfill their potential because they want it in their timing, their way and according to their own concept which they think is the "vision or dream" to keep them motivated and striving towards the fulfillment. In simple terms then, they have the knowledge of what they know the God wants them to do, but no wisdom as to how to get there and do it. The saddest person is the one who has been so deflected, distracted and had their life "high-jacked" that they now have no clear knowledge of what God wants them to do in this life. How do you get back on track? Firstly, stop what you are doing! Secondly, pray for the peace and the presence of the Lord to come upon you again, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit will settle your spirit and soul to a place where you can hear God. Thirdly, expect the unexpected. That means God may be calling you to learn from, study with and be a part of something different that what you would expect, prefer or decide to do. One you have made your decision to go with God's directive, then watch out for the five other doors that the devil will open for you that are usually apparently "Godly", but will lack the humility required by the God directed way. God requires us to go through the "cross" where our self is not in the equation when He uses us.

Judgment first comes to the house of God!

I know that whenever I am invited to speak in some of the largest churches in the world, I have found people in ministry who act arrogantly, or who have an air about themselves. This is wrong. One church where I was the invited preacher, I was expected to be ushered out during the final verse of the chorus at the end of the service incase any of the congregation tried to speak to the leadership or to me. Do you know, I refused to do it and after remonstrating with the Pastor, I walked down one of the aisles to the doors at the back of the church and I stood and shook the hands of all of the 3000 plus membership of that church. They were shocked! They had never seen anything like this. Some of them had never met the Pastor in the fifteen years they had been attending. How sad! They could just talk with his fifteen screening secretaries. I never knew Jesus to have needed secretaries!
We in the United Kingdom have something special to bring to the ministry. "Ordinary-ness!" There is no such word but I know that you will know what I mean. We British clergy expect respect when we are in the pulpit or because of the office that we hold. But, when we climb down from the pulpit or we are not functioning in the office of ministry then we are just ordinary folk like any other. We have no "Prima Donna's" I hope, in the pulpits of the British Isles nor would we tolerate them. Neither do we demand respect but rather we gain it by who we are, how we treat people and above all else we know that we are here to lighten burdens and not to impose heavier ones. So we have a lot to give and this is why I invite any people from these islands who are wondering whether they should study for the ministry to wonder no more and to write to me.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE THE CHANGE PASTOR?

Now, is the time to repent and to reassess what the Christian walk and Ministry is all about.

It's time for a new mode of operation in obedience to the Lord's will concerning it.

The cult of celebrity needs to be banished from ministry.

God does not want "Prima Donna's" in the pulpit.

This is not Christ's mode of operation.

We need to put an end to leadership being arrogant and dismissive and return to facilitating each member of the "Church" to fulfill their God given potential during this life.

Make the change pastor! Remember, you are going to be held the more accountable before God for how you have led your congregation.
